Reverend Dr. Chester Kim

Pastor, First Presbyterian Church of Bernardsville

Pastor Chester holds a Master of Divinity, Master of Christian Education and Counseling, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Princeton Theological Seminary.  He is also a professional marriage and family counselor with a specialty in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic settings.

"Thanks to all the wonderful families I met and developed relationships with at the culture school, I feel like I became a better person.  People at TLC taught me that we are truly one big family.  Families at TLC help each other to laugh and cry together, learn and grow together.  It's so exciting energizing and wonderful for me to see them each week.  This has been one of the most exciting, beautiful and meaningful experiences I've ever had."

Chester Kim

 Ui Kim

Principal, TLC Culture School

Ui is the heart and soul of our school.   Mrs. Kim holds a Master of Divinity from Drew Graduate School, and a Master of Christian Education from Princeton Theological Seminary.

"One parent at TLC told me that she became a Korean American by adopting her children from Korea. I am so blessed and honored to support and help TLC Korean American families for them to explore Korean language and culture for their 1st and 2nd identity, Korean and American.  Their love and life brought tears and laughter, reminding me of God's love for their children.  I thank God for giving me these precious TLC families, and I thank you all for your love."
